1, KARAOKE (DRAKE)
An unlikely blend of musical styles, Aubery Drake Graham sings over riffs composed by the band; Francis and the lights. The Meretriciously engineered track by Noah "40" makes everything else on Drake's EP "Thank Me Later" seem irrelevant. An amazing Sunday mourning song as you take a look back at the night before, turn up the volume and just wander with satisfaction.

This awesomeness has been missing for way too long. The Keys are just one of the many other bands delivering amazing shows in crowded venues and are thankfully overlooked. This American blues rock duo have been settling in a good place musically and should stick around for awhile. Encourages you to forget the rest of the world and take another long walk or drive.3, CHAIN HEAVY/SO APPALLED (KANYE WEST)
WARNING This is not the polished version of hip hop you are accustomed to, "Chain heavy" is the over indulgence and raw non-sense missed from the genre. Talib Kweli and Consequence help the case here, rhythmic heaven on looped drums can often be disgusting to passers by but the words literally do the talking. But not to get confused "So Appalled" is the Most Important song to the genre this year. Must be blasted over the speakers to show significance, I mean like this shit is F........ 4, INFINITY GUITARS (SLEIGH BELLS)
Guitars and a sleigh bell is all that is needed here, "Noise Pop" is the ultimate F... YOU to the domesticated version heard on radio and is my answer to taking it all the way. Reckless and fun, no precision needed just Alexis Krauss' vocals make this a worthy and much needed listen.

5, I FOUND A WHISTLE (MGMT)
This is a triumphant, complete and uplifting song making it a hidden gem on otherwise highly criticized effort."Congratulations", MGMT's follow up to their debut Album. The track resembles the sounds of psychedelic rock heard in the past century but is still easily far from the past.
